Team feedback (collaborators)
When several people work on a board, internal feedback lives on the canvas and in capture tools: it does not go through the client link or the client feedback bell.
What it is for
Coordinate internal reviews, annotate on site, and close specific points without mixing with external client review.
How to use it
- Who can contribute: board owner, collaborators invited by email (with an Idear account), and /b/… link guests with edit permission. Client review link (/c/…) users do not take part in this flow.
- Comment pin (shortcut M): click on the canvas → numbered pin with text. The pin panel opens when selected. From the mobile inbox you can pin or link photos, comments, and voice notes to a new or existing pin (see «Mobile inbox ↔ canvas pins»).
- Comment thread: floating window on the canvas with collaborator messages, element references, and emoji reactions. Best for longer discussions (see «Comment thread»).
- Team voice notes: record from Idear mobile (/app/mobile) or the editor microphone; review in the pending-notes panel or the captures inbox (see «Team voice notes»).
- Mobile captures inbox: smartphone icon on desktop or List on mobile. Groups voice, comments, and photos before placing them on the canvas or linking to pins. Mark reviewed archives the capture; a pin with several captures becomes Resolved when all are reviewed.
- Where it is managed: directly on the canvas (pins and threads), selected pin panel, mobile inbox, and voice-notes panel. There are no shared Open/Done statuses with client feedback: closing means Resolved on the pin or Mark reviewed in the inbox.
Tips
- Comment pins on a review image are internal: the client does not see them on their link (they do see their own markers on that image).
- To notify the team about general board updates (not each pin), use «Board notifications».
