Feedback flows: overview
Idear separates two feedback circuits that do not mix: team feedback (collaborators in the editor) and client feedback (review link /c/…). Each has its own tools, visibility, and management screens.
What it is for
See at a glance which comment type belongs to which flow and where to review or close it.
How to use it
- Team feedback (collaborators): comment pins, conversation threads, team voice notes, and mobile inbox captures. Only visible to people who edit the board (owner, collaborators, and guests with edit permission). Managed on the canvas, in each pin panel, and in the mobile inbox — not in the client feedback bell.
- Client feedback: comments, reactions, approvals, voice notes, and markers on review images from the /c/… link. The team receives it in the editor: floating bell (alert), feedback modal, «Client feedback» section in the side panel, and on wide screens an expanded management drawer.
- Clients do not see internal team pins or threads. The team sees client feedback and can reply, change status, and add internal notes (team replies are not shown to the client on their link).
- Client feedback statuses: Open → In progress → Done (or Approved for approvals; Dismissed when archived). Team pins use Resolved / Mark reviewed in the mobile inbox.
- Detailed articles: «Client approval flow», «Team feedback (collaborators)», «Manage client feedback», «Client comments», «Share with client», «Comment pin», «Comment thread», «Team voice notes», «Client voice note», «Review image and markers».
Tips
- If your plan includes client review (Pro/Studio), the bell only appears once there is at least one client feedback entry.
- Enable «Notify me» on the board for email or Telegram when the client leaves feedback (at most one alert every 15 minutes per board).
