Canvas variants

Alternative proposal groups on the same board, with a quick bar, grid comparison, and editable descriptions.

What it is for

Compare design options without duplicating the project or losing board context.

Select elements and use the selection floating bar → «Create variant».
Use the variant bar on the canvas to switch view, rename (double-click), or dissolve.
In the Variants panel, click «Compare» (or the same button on the floating bar) to open the fullscreen grid.
The grid shows up to three visible variants with thumbnail, label, materials, and editable description.
From the grid you can view a variant on the canvas, focus it, or close with Esc.
Focus a variant to show only its group; others stay dimmed or hidden depending on state.

Available on your plan; there may be a limit on how many variants you can use.
Descriptions and materials help explain each option in meetings or client reviews.
