Guest links (Links tab)
In Share → Share with collaborator → «Links» tab you get three public board URLs (/b/…), each with a different permission level. Each block shows the URL, a permission summary, last regenerated date, and Copy and Regenerate buttons.
What it is for
Give access without an Idear account: view only, contribute own content, or full board edit.
How to use it
- Open Share → Share with collaborator → Links.
- View-only link: guest sees the board; cannot create, edit, or delete.
- Contribute link: can copy/paste existing content and create or edit their own elements.
- Full editor link: full edit (create, edit, delete any element). Use with care.
- Click Copy to share the URL; Regenerate invalidates the previous link and issues a new one (if it leaked).
Tips
- Regenerating does not delete board content, only rotates the link token.
- Guests pick a name and color on entry; they show as guest authors in layers.
- For clients who should only review and comment without editing the canvas, use «Share with client», not these links.
